Alpha in Networking and Telecom

Investors itching to buy something might want to look first at the Networking (IGN) and Telecommunication (IXP) sectors. Both have done well over the last week and we’re beginning to see several companies emerge as “buy” recommendations from these sectors in our analysis. One in particular that I like is Novatel Wireless Inc. (NVTL). It’s a fairly volatile stock, so I wouldn’t be too aggressive. But I like the sector going into 2007 and I like where the price is positioned relative to the last 12 months or so.
